Education
Sean received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola University School of Law. He has been recognized as the Top 40 under 40 Personal Injury Lawyers in both Illinois and Michigan, and was included in the Super Lawyers® list in 2021 and consecutively in 2022, the membership comprising of a rigorous selection process and independent review. He was further recognized in the top 2.5% of lawyers in Michigan on the Rising Stars list of Super Lawyers® in 2021 and consecutively in 2022. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, Chicago Bar Association, Michigan Association of Justice, and Trojan Horse Method for American Trial Lawyers. He remains active with personal injury trial lawyers throughout the country in the Trial Lawyers University. He also earned an MBA with a Concentration in Law at the Quinlan School of Business in addition to a certification in tax law.

Sean is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Illinois, US District Court Northern District of Illinois, and US District Court Eastern District of Michigan. In courts where not formally admitted around the country like the Western District of Pennsylvania, Western District of Washington, District of Massachusetts, Western District of Kentucky, and the Eastern District of North Carolina, he practices there on a case-by-case basis.

Sean practices personal injury civil litigation involving Uber and Lyft accidents, as well as federal maritime litigation across the country. He is an active member of his Church, where he is a member of the Knight of Columbus, a fraternal organization putting faith in action to service and protect families. Mr. Shaked has been practicing law since 2000 and went on to found the successful Shaked Law Personal Injury Lawyers in 2007, where he became one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the United States as named by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Before opening his firm, Mr Michaud worked as a defense attorney in personal injury and product liability litigation for fifteen years. This gave him a unique insight which many plaintiffs’ personal injury attorneys simply don’t have. He knows how corporations, insurance companies, and their attorneys assess and defend cases because he used to do exactly that. Mr Michaud leverages this knowledge when addressing an injury pre-suit or, if necessary, after a civil action has been filed to maximize my clients’ recoveries.

After attending the Military Academy, Mr. Bush attended Texas Tech University where he earned his bachelors degree. Immediately proceeding graduation Charles began his law career at the Texas Southern University; Thurgood Marshall School of Law and once again found success using the lessons he learned from the military academy: hard work and preparation. While attending law school, Mr. Bush competed in numerous Regional and National competitions as a member of the National Mock Trial Competition Team.
